Koufax 2003 -2015.   Rest in Peace.

A Sweet, Feisty Cute Male Miniature Poodle.  His eyes looked into my soul, the sidekick to my life, my meals, my sleeping time/physical comfort, angel source of warmth and companionship.  I begged him not to leave me.  For at least two months prior.   For longer I made sure his meals were daily, water at all times, outside to go potty.  Massages and exercise to keep him lean, but being generous with him and not restricting food I shared with him.  He loved broccoli, chicken, cheese, pizza.  He knew all of those words.  Go to Daddy to go outside.  He knew who Lois was.  He remembered who Lexi was and was sad when she passed away, but gave me a shot of hope that she was okay.  It was tragic and I had to make a decision.  This decision just made itself.  Now he is gone and while I have tons of dogs here and two horses, two birds, two cats, I'm shot and shattered and either numb or there is no relief and acceptance that he is gone.

Rou and his Honey Bunny - two beautiful creatures that belonged to gracious people who inspire us and have supported our efforts to breed and care for healthier dogs.   Cross Keys K9, Inc. would like to thank these altruistic angels by honoring the memory of their beloved German Shepherd and rabbit - here, and in our hearts.

Remembering Rou, today on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in his memory on the day he passed last year, we honor his family and our sponsors for their guidance, inspiration and benevolence.  There were eleven puppies born yesterday, blessed by your memory and the goodness of God, nature and nurture.
